Actress Nora Fatehi will be quizzed by the Delhi Police in a Rs 200-crore extortion case on September 15.
Following Jacqueline Fernandez, Bollywood actor Nora Fatehi has been summoned by the Delhi Police to appear before the Economic Offences Wing today (Thursday) in connection with an extortion matter that is linked to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
On Wednesday, Delhi Police had also quizzed Pinky Irani who was said to have been paid crores of rupees to introduce Jacqueline to the conman Sukesh.
In the initial round of questions, the police found some inconsistencies in Jacqueline’s as well as Pinky Irani’s answers and are likely to follow up with them. Pinky Irani has been requested to appear before the Delhi Police on Thursday.
However it is reported that police from the Delhi Police said that Nora Fatehi does not have any direct connection to Jacqueline but she was referred to be questioned along alongside Pinky Irani.
“Since Pinky Irani is here, we want to interrogate both of them tomorrow. There are certain things that need to be clarified. There’s no direct connection between Nora and Jacqueline with respect to this case,” said Ravindra Yadav, Ravindra Yadav the Special Commissioner for Police, EOW.
The 2nd of September police interrogated Nora Fatehi in the extortion case for more than seven hours. Her statement was recorded.
