Nora Fatehi shares cryptic post in the midst of a defamation battle along with Jacqueline Fernandez: ‘My parents did not teach me how to ……’
Nora Fatehi took to Instagram Stories to share a defiant blog post about the way her parents taught her. She spoke about her family’s upbringing following her defamation lawsuit against Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with the extortion case worth Rs200 million connected to the criminal Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
Nora Fatehi has shared a mysterious note regarding her motives and background after filing a defamation lawsuit against Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with the Rs200 crore extortion case. Both were interrogated at length by officials from the Enforcement Directorate over the last few months as they investigated the extortion cases linked with con man Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Nora posted on Instagram Stories to share that her parents didn’t allow her to profit from the actions of other people. She wrote “My parents did not raise me to exploit people. My motives will be honest. We’re not alike.” The author also included an emoji of a smiley face in her tweet.
On December 12th, Nora filed a defamation suit against Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with Rs200 crore extortion. The ‘conman’ Sukesh Chandrashekhar is the principal accuser. The suit is filed against Jacqueline as well as a handful of media organizations for allegedly trying to harm her image’ and causing her to lose work in the field. But, the lawyer for Jacqueline has stated that the client has never spoken publicly about Nora’s Fatehi. Therefore the issue of defaming her shouldn’t be a concern.
In her defamation lawsuit filed on Monday by the Delhi judge, she stated, “It has started to appear that the above rivals who cannot be competitive with the Complainant with respect to the law are now trying to damage her reputation, which could result in her losing work.” Jacqueline is listed as the ‘accused 1 in the lawsuit.
In a discussion with ETimes Advocate Prashant Patil stated “Jacqueline hasn’t made any declaration before any print or electronic media regarding Nora or, for that matter or any other person. She has been consciously avoiding talking regarding her involvement in the Enforcement Directorate proceedings. She has always upheld the law’s sanctity and since the case is pending, she has not spoken before print media and on social media. However, we have not received an authentic copy of this lawsuit that was filed by Nora. If we get an official confirmation or an order from the Honourable Court, we will take action legally.”
Nora was on screen in Thank God in a cameo in the song Manike along with Sidharth Mahotra. The film also featured Ajay Devgn. She also danced alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in Jehda Nasha’s remix track. The song came out on the 17th of November from Ayushmann’s film, An Action Hero. Nora has been cast in the film 100 Percent with John Abraham and Shehnaaz Gill as her project of the future.
