Pakistan Peoples Party leader Shazia Marri has threatened to launch a nuclear war against India the news agency ANI reported, quoting Bol News, a day after India firmly condemned the neighboring nation’s foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto because of her “uncivilized outburst” against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“India should not forget that Pakistan has an atom bomb. Our nuclear status is not meant to remain silent. We will not back down if the need arises,” Ms. Marri addressed reporters at an event to promote the cause of Mr. Bhutto, ANI reported.

India yesterday hit out at Benazir Bhutto over his personal attacks on PM Modi calling it a “new low even for Pakistan”.

In an uncompromising and firm condemnation of the remarks of Mr. Bhutto in the UN, New Delhi said Pakistan is not able to cast doubt on India and also said the “Make in Pakistan terrorism” must stop.

In a deeply offensive comment on Thursday, Bhutto has stated: “Osama bin Laden is dead, but the butcher of Gujarat lives and he is the Prime Minister of India.”

He was responding at Foreign Minister S Jaishankar calling Pakistan the “epicenter of terrorism” in an enraged attack.

“These comments are a new low, even for Pakistan. The Foreign Minister of Pakistan has obviously forgotten this day in 1971, which was a direct result of the genocide unleashed by Pakistani rulers against ethnic Bengalis and Hindus. Unfortunately, Pakistan does not seem to have changed much in the treatment of its minorities. It certainly lacks credentials to cast aspersions at India,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

It appears that the Pakistan Foreign Minister’s “uncivilized outburst” seemed to be the result of the country’s “increasing inability to use terrorists and their proxies,” stated the ministry.

“Cities like New York, Mumbai, Pulwama, Pathankot, and London are among the many that bear the scars of Pakistan-sponsored, supported, and instigated terrorism. This violence has emanated from their Special Terrorist Zones and exported to all parts of the world. ‘Make in Pakistan’ terrorism has to stop.”

India stated that Pakistan is a nation that presides over Osama bin Laden’s martyrdom and also shelters terrorists such as Lakhvi, Hafiz Saeed, Masood Azhar Sajid Mir, and Dawood Ibrahim. “No other country can boast having 126 UN-designated terrorists and 27 UN-designated terrorist entities,” declared the statement.
