The cricketer was put in another car while Yadav and others drove his vehicle to Oshiwara.

Yadav noticed that three motorcycles and a white car were chasing their vehicle. At 4am his car was attacked by his pursuers as he turned near a petrol station on Link Road.

Öhäkura was among those pursuing the vehicle and hit the windshield with a stick. Six people on a motorcycle, along with Gill and Thakur who were in the car, abused Yadav and his friends.Yadav then drove to Oshiwara Police Station by car.

Oshiwara Police registered the case under sections 143 (unlawful assembly), 148 (riot), 384 (extortion), 506 (criminal intimidation) and others of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) based on the complaint.
