The actor Shah Rukh Khan, in a series of tweets was in contact with fans on Twitter. In some tweets, he discussed his film Pathaan which is currently in the midst of controversy ahead of the film’s release.

Shah Rukh Khan who is getting ready for the launch of his film Pathaan took some time to respond to questions from fans on Twitter. On the evening of Saturday, the actor tweeted “Come all and let’s do an #AskSRK session for 15 minutes. Then work calls.” The rare “Ask me anything” session is amidst the ongoing controversy over the song from his film, Besharam Rang.

Responding to the actor, one fan asked, “Why #AskSRK is always for 15 minutes?” Shah Rukh replied, “Because everyone needs 15 minutes of fame …” “#Pathaan can also be extremely patriotic..but in a way that is action-oriented,” he also added when he replied to another fan.

Also, he was asked to forecast the opening day’s business for Pathaan on the screen. Shah Rukh stated, “I am not in the business of predictions…I am in the business of entertaining you and making you smile. …” “Now my team has me on the phone to get back to work. I will be in touch with you guys the next day. If you missed it, don’t be embarrassed …. Abhi photo baaki hai. Thank you for all the love and your time. Come back soon to theaters in the near future. …#Pathaan,” he ended the conversation on Twitter.

Shah Rukh’s Pathaan which will be released on the 25th of January will be directed by Siddharth Anand. The film also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The film was a source of controversy following the release of the first single, Besharam Rang.

A lot of people have demanded an outright protest against the film since the beginning because some were unhappy with Deepika’s clothes, including the bikini that she wore on the track. This week, a complaint was filed with an Indian court in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district. The petition will seek to register an FIR in the case of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and other actors because of the “hurting religious sentiments” of Hindus in Besharam Rang.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Madhya Pradesh home minister Narottam Mishra spoke to reporters “The costumes in the song are objectionable. The song reflects a dirty mindset.” Mishra continued to say, “I advise the makers of the film to rectify the problematic parts of the song. Prior to that, Deepika Padukone had stood in the support of the ‘Tukde Tukde Group’ at JNU. Her attitude was revealed. I am of the opinion that the title “Besharam Rang” is infuriating. In addition, the manner in which the colors green and saffron are employed for the costumes is a snub. It is necessary to make changes in the event that they fail, then we’ll decide if the film should be shown at all in Madhya Pradesh.”
